Consciousness and the unconscious are predominantly uncharted by scientific research yet evidently a resource of great power, energy and intelligence. Far from being islands, we seem to share the same psychological sub stratum and perhaps as a consequence, experience collective shifts of consciousness; a tacit global communion.  For thousands of years collective and individual consciousness has conceived and at times perceived the sublime, the divine and transcendent.  Much of this potential is inaccessible to us, blocked, sublimated or perhaps our attention is just elsewhere.  But we can begin to access the potential of consciousness to create lives and life lived at a higher level; fuller, richer and connecting with the resources and inspiration implicit and often dormant in human nature.
